Journey through the Extreme Universe: Multiwavelength & Multimessenger Universe

In the 8th webinar of the series, Sera Markoff (Professor of Astrophysics at University of Amsterdam, and co-coordinator of the Event Horizon Telescope Multi-wavelength Science WG) will explain what the terms “multi-wavelength” and “multi-messenger” mean in the fields of astronomy and astroparticle physics. She will also give some examples of why we want to combine information from CTA with signals from other types of facilities, in order to try to answer fundamental questions about the most extreme objects in the Universe.
