The following list gathers all open secondment positions for the CTAO Outreach, Education and Communication Office. Secondees would report to Alba Fernández-Barral, CTAO Outreach, Education and Communication Officer.   • Job Location: Home institution, but for specific tasks travel could be required and agreed upon.
  • Description: The secondee will support the development of currently on-going education and outreach events and tools, as well as growth of CTAO social media. Some of the key responsibilities will be: Support organization of on-going education and outreach initiatives (online webinars, Physicists On-Call, “Building from Diversity” campaign or People of CTA); support growth of CTAO social media, creating new campaigns and weekly posts on current channels; support the development of education audiovisual tools (such as CTAO-North Virtual Tour and Augmented Reality Tool).
  • Qualification: Degree in communication, journalism or similar, or proven experience in the creation of digital education tools and social media management.
  • Knowledge, Experience & Soft Skills: Experience in the organization and development of communication, outreach and education events, online tools and programmes. Experience using institutional social media feeds required. Experience in the creation of short communication videos will be highly valued. Knowledge on WordPress and Adobe (Premiere, Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop) will be highly valued. Good communication and team working skills. English: Professional Working Proficiency. Spanish would be highly valued.

  • Description: The secondee will support the CTAO ERIC launch, providing new multimedia material (to be used in Media Kits and the updated Website), as well as increasing social media impact before the establishment of the final legal entity. Some of the key responsibilities will be: Production of audiovisual and multimedia content (renderings, infographics, images, short science animations/gifs, interviews, video series, etc.), particularly focused on the ERIC launch and website update; production of content for all public streams and development of a social media campaign before and focused on the ERIC establishment; support in the maintenance and growth of all digital communication (Website, Facebook, Wikipedia, YouTube, blogs, twitter, etc.) as deemed appropriate after analysis of the communication/outreach plan.
  • Qualification: Degree in Audiovisual Media, Graphic Designer or similar.
  • Knowledge, Experience & Soft Skills: Experience in the production of audiovisual content within the science field. Experience in the management of social media. Experience in film & video production (use of equipment and edition). English: Professional Working Proficiency.
