People of CTA

Meet the people behind the world's largest gamma-ray observatory

CTA is a truly international collaboration, with more than 1,500 members from 25 countries contributing to developing its scientific goals and construction. The “People of CTA” video series gives viewers a look behind the scenes at the science and technology developments in CTA and, most important, the people working on the world’s largest gamma-ray observatory.

Each short, ~5-minute, episode will introduce a different member of CTA, his/her field of expertise and a glimpse into their personal and professional experiences working in their field and with CTA. Thus, along the series, we will get first-hand accounts about the exciting study themes that CTA will cover, what it takes to build CTA and the personal and academic/professional journeys from the people that are building CTA. Proud of our diversity and committed to our Astrodiversity spirit, “People of CTA” will show the global cooperation that makes the project move forward. Subscribe to the series on our YouTube channel and follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to catch the upcoming episodes.
